Portia Hairston was born and raised in Martinsville, Virginia but currently resides in Beaverdam, VA. Portia graduated with her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Portia received her license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2017. Portia is married with two beautiful daughters and enjoys spending quality time with her family as much as possible. Portia began her journey in Social Work around 2009 and continues to serve her community as the CEO of Hairston & Associates Therapeutic and Community Treatment Services. Hairston & Associates provides both Mental Health Skill Building Service and Community Stabilization Services (crisis) to the Richmond, Petersburg, Henrico and Hanover population of both adolescents and adults. Portia Hairston began her journey as a Business Coach in 2019 and has been a compliance strategist since 2014. Portia began her consulting agency to assist individuals and agencies looking to launch and/or improve their business and structure. Portia's mission is to help business owners who struggle to identify and implement goals to take their vision to next level.  Portia is passionate about seeing businesses thrive and succeed for years to come.
